I grew up in a hunting family, pulling the trigger for the first time at the age of 5. For us, it is a profession. One uncle owns a taxidermy and the other a processing plant. I started working for both at the age of 16. I learned the anatomy of the various species and proper care after the animal is killed.
I have always wanted to own a business. My greatest satisfaction is seeing someone else be successful in the hunt. It’s a joy to introduce both new people and old friends to the hunting experience. I truly enjoy seeing the looks on their faces when they kill the game they are seeking.
I also like the outside work. Improving the land and making it more desirable for the animals is a big responsibility. This includes filling feeders, making water holes, clearing land and checking on game cameras.
I’m looking forward to all of the new experiences to be had at TX268 outfitter on Winston Ranch. Whether you’re a new hunter and I can get you as hooked on hunting as I am or you’re an experienced hunter and we can swap stories about past conquests, I’d love the opportunity to meet you and add to your hunting success.
